Tullibigeal Central School joined the Lachlan Access Program (LAP) in 2013 which also includes Condobolin High School, Ungarie Central School, Lake Cargelligo Central School and Quandialla Central School. Prior to this the school was part of the Western Access Program since 1990.
The aim of the development of this Country Areas Program project was to link several rural and remote schools in the West of NSW to allow students to remain in their local communities and complete their HSC and further studies. The first courses were developed utilising TELEMATIC technology using school based telephone lines. In 2004, all Access schools across NSW were upgraded to allow for courses to be delivered using Video Conference technology (Polycom VSX 6000) to enhance all learning experiences.
